Since its founding in 1891, Den Allmänna Idrottsklubben has, like time itself, been the place where all eyes are drawn. With AIK’s proud history behind us, those of us who have chosen the black and yellow path will forever be the reason for other supporters’ envious gaze toward Sweden’s greatest and most beautiful club.
The story of AIK is found in the details of the Stadsmur Limited Edition. Inspired by the AIK emblem, the dial’s design is crafted to resemble the Stockholm city wall. The emblem is also engraved on the case back, and as a reminder of the club’s founding year, 1891 is featured on both the crown and the clasp. Inside the watch ring, the lines can be read: “We see the sun rising over Råsunda” and “We see the ice of Hovet shining bright and clear.” Finally, with the watch’s gold-colored hands, it is made clear that AIK is truly a club touched by gold.
